Abstract

|
We have expereinced one case of unilateral acute hearing loss and restored completely its hearing by the extensive vasodilation therapy started within a week. The regime is chiefly based on that used by the Otology Medical Group in Los Angeles. It is understood that ´the hearing loss occurred suddenly is an otology emergency since its recovery depends on prompt thearpy, and has higher incidence of recovery when the treatment starts earlier.
